Assigning Trainers
A Trainer is the human element that brings a class to life. While administrators build the curriculum, Trainers are responsible for the day-to-day delivery, supervision, and evaluation of students within a live class. Every class in Nimbu, especially accredited vocational education; the system ensures that at least one qualified trainer is at the helm to maintain compliance and academic integrity.

How to Assign Trainers to a Class
Trainer assignment takes place during class creation or when editing an existing class.
- Navigate to Classes in the left-hand sidebar.
- Click Add to create a new class, or click the class name in the registry to open an existing one.

- For an existing class, click the Edit button in the top-right corner of the class view.

- In the Class Information panel, locate the Assign Trainer dropdown.

- Select a trainer who has been granted the Trainer role in their User Permissions.
- Click Save & Continue to confirm the assignment.

Multiple Trainers Support
Nimbu supports collaborative teaching by allowing more than one trainer to be assigned to a single class.
- Shared Responsibility: Multiple trainers can be assigned to ensure continuity. If one trainer is unavailable, another can step in to mark submissions or activate content.
- Equal Access: All assigned trainers have equal visibility and management rights over the students within that class. The class will appear in each trainer's dashboard.

What Trainers Can Do
Once assigned to a class, a Trainer gains "Command Centre" access to that specific group of students:
- Content Activation: For Trainer-Led classes, trainers manually activate units and assessments for students, setting open times and due dates to control the pace of delivery.
- Marking & Feedback: They review student submissions, record practical Observations, and assign results like Satisfactory (S) or Competent (C).
- Student Management: Trainers can view individual student progress, add new students to the class, and monitor engagement to identify learners who may need additional support.
