How To Add/Edit A SCORM File To Your Resource Library

Nimbu allows users to import SCORM files into your content library, saving time and effort in course creation. Having a SCORM file as a learning material can help your organisation deliver engaging and effective e-learning experiences to your learners. We’re here to walk you through the process to ensure a seamless upload of your file.

How it Works

The imported SCORM file will become a part of your content library, available to be used in any of your units. You can also apply it as a reference to particular questions within a PTR (pre training review), an assessment or the assessment as a whole.

The steps to follow for adding/editing a SCORM file to your resource library.

Step 1 - Sign in to your Nimbu account.


Step 2 - Click on the Content option from the sidebar of your dashboard to access the content drop-down menu.

Step 3 -  From the drop-down menu, select Learning Resources/Materials, and it will take you to your content library.

Step 4 - Click the Add button in the top right corner of the page.

Step 5 - Click the SCORM button in the header. 

Step 6 - Add the file title (Sample Scorm) in the designated place. 


Step 7 - Drag a SCORM zip file from your computer and drop it into the box below "Add Supporting Document."

OR 

Click the "browse files on your computer" option, and select a SCORM zip file from your computer to upload it to the library.

Step 8 - Click either the Student or Trainer button or both, beneath "Visible to*" to make the learning material visible to either or both parties.

Step 9 - Click the eye icon on the right-hand side of the page to preview the SCORM file in the system. 

Step 10 - Click the Save as Draft button in the top right corner of the page to save the imported file as a draft.

Or

To publish your SCORM file, click the Publish button and then press Yes to confirm.

Step 11 - Once published, you'll be able to find the saved SCORM file in your SCORM index.

*After uploading the file, please note that it may take some time for the system to unzip it. As a result, you will need to wait until the eye icon appears, and then you can click it to preview the file.
