Sidebar Navigation Explained


Nimbu features a super convenient collapsible sidebar navigation menu that allows effortless navigation to different sections and pages within the system. It enhances the user experience and ensures seamless training and learning for RTOs and their students by saving valuable time and effort.

A quick explanation of the sidebar navigation menu 

Our sidebar navigation menu is organised based on different functions to enhance ease of use. Additionally, the sidebar navigation menu allows you to collapse it to create more space which is especially useful for users who prefer to have more real estate on their screens to work with.


To collapse the sidebar, press the three horizontal lines in the bottom left corner of the panel.

Dashboard - By pressing the Dashboard option from the sidebar, you can access the work that need to be marked, class information and your student progress.

Function: Delivering more for trainers and students.

Students - By pressing the Student option from the sidebar, you can access your student index.

Classes - By pressing the Class option from the sidebar, you can access your class index.

Marking - By pressing the Marking option from the sidebar, you can access your marking index, which includes assessments, observations and practicals that need to be assessed and marked by trainers.

Function: Configuring training packages.

Courses - By pressing the Courses option from the sidebar, you can access your course index page, where you can add published units to accredited and non-accredited courses.

Units -  By pressing the Units option from the sidebar, you can access your unit index page, where you can build your accredited, non-accredited and cluster units.

Function: Providing learning materials and assessment resources.

Content - By pressing the Expand Arrow beside content, you can access a drop-down menu that includes Pre Training, Learning Resources/Materials and Assessment/Practical/Observation Tasks.

Setting and Notifications

The notification and settings icon can be found in the bottom right corner of the sidebar. To see all of your recent notifications, click the bell icon.

To find the option for editing your profile, settings and logout, press the setting icon.
