Brand Settings Overview

Nimbu allows admin users to customise the platform's appearance to match their organization's branding. This includes the ability to upload a logo, set brand initials, edit brand colour and upload different background images. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can easily customise the platform's look and create a more engaging experience for your students.

In this article, we will cover the following points.

  1. The value of customising the platform's look to align with your RTO.
  2. The steps for editing the brand settings.

Customizing the platform's look to align with your RTO is important for several reasons:

  • It ensures consistency and fosters a sense of trust and credibility among your users.
  • It contributes to brand recognition and familiarity. Having a similar appearance helps your users recognise the platform as part of your organisation.
  • It makes the platform appear more personalised and professional.
  • It increases user engagement since a consistent look that fits your branding is more visually appealing.

Steps to follow for editing the brand settings.

Step 1 - Sign in to your Nimbu account.

Step 2 - From your dashboard, at the bottom of the left sidebar, click on the settings icon to display a pop-up menu.

Step 3 -  Click on the Setting option from the pop-up menu.

Step 4 - Click on Brand Settings in the left side panel. It will take you to the brand setting page.

Step 5 - Click on the Choose File button under "logo" and upload a logo file from your computer's folder.

Step 6 - Type in your initials inside the box under "set brand initials." The new initials will reflect on your sidebar navigation.

Step 7 - Click the colour dropper icon beside "color picker" to open a colour gradient box, and from there, pick your brand's colour.

Step 8 - Click the Upload buttons under different "backgrounds" (login, dashboard, class, unit and assessment) to set background images. These background images are displayed on the Student View and are used to further enhance and reinforce the theme and brand of your RTO/Organisation for your end users.

Tip: Keep in mind they are background images, it is best to avoid images that are very busy, have a lot of detail and colour variation. A washed out image that subtly speaks to your brand is best.

Step 9 - Click the Save button in the top right corner of the page to save the changes you made to brand settings.
